1st thing I love this panel...so helpful for planning the perfect WDW vacation! My ? is we are a family of 5 bringing lots of baby gear, so we are trying to take as little luggage as we can, are long pants and sweaters needed for evenings in early Sept?

I just double checked on weather.com. The average night time lows in Orlando during the first half of September are in the low 70s, and even the record lows are only in the mid-60s. In my mind that means you could certainly get away with wearing shorts during your visit. However, I would bring a sweater or light jacket on a September trip because I find that some of the restaurants have very strong air conditioning. Also, you are very likely to run into some rain at some point during your trip. You could always buy ponchos at WDW, but if you or your children would be more comfortable in your own rain gear, then I would consider bringing that as well.

Have a wonderful trip to WDW!
