I see that they’ve taken the braised pork off the menu at BOG didn’t realize that until after I booked. I would eat chicken but not asparagus/leeks. The children’s menu has green beans. Can I substitute the asparagus/leeks for green beans?

Hello there, Karolann! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to reach out and ask your Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Guests dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant at invited into the Beast's enchanted castle for an evening of elegant dining! There are three gorgeously imagineered rooms in which Guests may dine including The Grand Ballroom, The West Wing, and The Castle Gallery. If you have a bit of extra time, I would highly recommend arriving to your reservation early and requesting a specific room! Each time my family dines at Be Our Guest Restaurant, I always make an effort to request a table in The West Wing. I just love the dark theming and fun special effects that take place in this particular room!

As someone with special dietary needs, I am no stranger to making requests when dining at Walt Disney World Resort! Generally, I make a note on my dining reservations of my specific food allergies but there are certain times when I forget. When this has happened, I do not often have any problems having side dishes switched for alternatives available on other parts of the menu. I will note, though, that any substitutions are not guaranteed and are made at the discretion of the Cast Member serving you and your party.

Have fun continuing to plan for your December vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Be sure to let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!
