Thank you for running to planDisney with your question. I participated in my first runDisney races at Disneyland Resort in January, and they were so much fun! I loved running through the theme parks before sunrise. Cast Members cheered for the runners as upbeat music played in the parks. I cannot wait to do it again!
We do not yet know when the 2025-2026 races will be announced. This year's race schedule was released in October 2023, which seems to be a common time of year for race announcements. Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and runDisney social media pages in the fall for future race schedules! Once the dates are announced, they are usually posted on a banner at the top of the
runDisney website.
However, there is still time to register for the
Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend taking place from January 30 to February 2, 2025! Registration was supposed to happen earlier this week but it was delayed due to technical issues. The themed races include a heroic 5K, a
Star Wars 10K, and a Mickey Mouse and Friends half marathon. Like last year, there is also the Dumbo Challenge for racers who want to complete both the 10K and half marathon. That is what I did last year! The new registration dates have not been announced yet, but I am guessing it will happen soon. I keep checking the runDisney website for updates!
