Hi there, We are starting to plan a trip for April 2018 and have a budget. We are staying at Pop Century but will not be getting a meal plan this time. Are you able to make reservations 180 days out, without a Disney Dining Plan?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Heather!

Hooray for your spring trip to Walt Disney World! I love planning my Disney trips as far in advance as possible so that we have lots of time to get excited and ready. Plus, at 180 days out, guests can begin booking their Advanced Dining Reservations, so I always like to log on the first day that I can to snag my favorites!

You do not need to have a Disney Dining Plan in order to book Advanced Dining Reservations when they open 180 days in advance, so go ahead and mark that date on your calendar and plan to start booking then. The early part of April is already open, so you'll be able to book very soon, depending on when you're visiting in April! If you have any must-do restaurants, try to book those first when you log in that day, and then book the others. Some of the most popular reservations go quickly, so the sooner you book, the better! If you find that you can't get a certain reservation you'd really like, don't worry. Guests change their plans all the time, so keep checking back, especially in the weeks leading up to your trip, as many times, spots will open up. Just this week, we were thrilled to grab a reservation that we were really hoping for, for our upcoming trip, that I'd not been able to get months ago, so it was a nice surprise!

Have fun planning your delicious meals, Heather!
