Hello, Jason!
In my experience, Disney trips are even more magical with family and friends. We often bring my parents along with us. One of my favorite memories is watching my mom hold hands with my oldest son as they headed to the
Prince Charming Regal Carousel. Now that my son is in college, these moments hold an even more special place in my heart.
Jason, the grandparents are welcome to visit you at your
Disney Resort Collection Hotel. They can visit you in your room, dine at one of the restaurants, or enjoy walking the grounds. However, please know that only registered Guests of the resort may use the pool area, so they would not be able to spend the day at the resort pool with you. You will want to check with the front desk in advance if the grandparents are driving, to ask about availability of Guest parking. It may depend on resort and availability.
I would recommend making an
Advance Dining Reservation at the table service restaurant at your resort. You could have a lovely evening with a meal and a walk after dinner! Maybe grab some dessert from the quick-service location after the walk for a sweet ending to your day.
I hope this helps to answer your question, Jason. Wishing you a magical family visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort!
