Hi there! We are planning a Fantasy cruise for February 1,2014. I'm looking into the Mayan ruins tour in Costa Maya. It looks on our itinerary that we are only in port there for 3 1/2 hours. With the travel time to the ruins, is this an option for us?

    Ahoy Jennifer!
I'm excited to hear you will be leaving the cold behind to set sail on a tropical Caribbean voyage in February!  Venturing ashore to experience the amazing ports of calls is the best way to immerse your family in the cultures and traditions of the islands you will be visiting on your sailing!  When the ship docks in Costa Maya, it will be there for just enough time for your crew to take part in the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins Port Adventure.  Since your tour is around the same length as your stay on the island, you will most likely be one of the first groups off the ship as well as the last ones on.  And there is no need to worry about missing the ship because you will be on a Disney Cruise Line sponsored tour so the ship will wait if the tour is running late for any reason.  This makes your time ashore stress free because Disney Cruise Line will take care of everything for you!
Thank you for continuing to use the Moms Panel, Jennifer!  Please write back if I can assist you further!
    Have a magical day!
