Hello, Paula!
'Ohana is a super popular restaurant for both breakfast and dinner located inside
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The dinner here is probably one of the most difficult to reserve
Disney dining experiences. There's great fun for kids, with coconut races, music, and more, and the meal here is just delicious. Skewers of chicken, shrimp, and steak, fresh off the grill, are brought to your table in quantities of as much as you want. The side dishes are outstanding - lo mein noodles, dumplings, salad and more are always a hit with my gang.
There is no set kids menu here, but there is always something that your server can rustle up for your grandkids. In past visits, I've seen offerings of chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, grilled cheese sandwiches, or a burger. You can ask when you arrive what options are available, and your server can let you know what they can bring.
Just an FYI - even if the grandkids opt for the kids meal choice, they can still enjoy the 'Ohana feast. You might be surprised that even the pickiest eater might end up enjoying the lo mein noodles (that was always my picky eater's favorite) or dumplings, and it's a rare occasion where I've seen someone not enjoy the 'Ohana bread pudding. Yum!
I hope you have a wonderful visit to
Walt Disney World with your grandchildren!
Anna
