Hi there, My 9 year old daughter and I are ready to set sail on March 7 on the Disney Wonder to the Bahamas. We have been so excited but the weather is now predicted to be in the 50s on Thursday. Will this ruin our trip?

Hi Catherine! I wish I could tell you that the weather will change and be absolutely perfect for your sailing, but I'm not a meteorologist, so sadly, I can't.

However, even if you encounter some chilly days (usually sea days tend to be windier and chillier), there is always so much to do in the inside areas of the ship, you could spend your whole time there and still have an amazing vacation.

I just took a look at the forecast for Nassau, and this week I see the temperatures in the mid to high 70's and low 80's. Of course, it will certainly be cooler sailing out of Miami that first day, but you're headed to the tropics, so I don't think you'll need to worry at all!

Enjoy your cruise, Catherine! Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
