Hi there, My extended family and I are going to Disney World in December. I was hoping to get professional photos of our group taken at either The Riviera (where we are staying) or the Caribbean Beach Resort that’s next door. Is there any way to do this?

    Hiya, Madilyn!

I’m so happy to welcome you back to planDisney! How exciting that you’re planning a visit to Walt Disney World during the most wonderful time of the year. There’s something so special about being at Disney during the holiday season. The parks and resorts are filled with beautiful decorations, festive treats, and so many magical little touches that make the experience feel even more memorable. It truly is one of the most magical times to visit!

I also love that you’ll be staying at Disney's Riviera Resort during your visit. It’s one of my favorite resorts on all of Walt Disney World Resort property! The atmosphere there has such a lovely blend of elegance and Disney charm. While you’re there, be sure to stop by Le Petit Café. Their lattes are absolutely divine and the perfect little pick-me-up before heading out for a day in the parks!

I love that you’re planning to do a photo session with your group during your trip. Photos are truly some of the best keepsakes, and I treasure all of mine from past visits. While professional photo sessions aren’t currently available at the resorts, there’s a fantastic alternative I think you’ll love. You can book a Capture Your Moment session at any of the four theme parks! These sessions are guided by a Disney PhotoPass photographer who will help you choose the perfect locations, pose your group, and make sure every shot is magical. It’s a wonderful way to capture memories without the rush of trying to snap the perfect picture on your own, and you’ll come away with professional-quality photos that you and your family can treasure for years.

Madilyn, I hope this gives you a helpful guide as you keep planning your trip! If any other questions come up along the way, you’re always welcome to stop by here at planDisney!

    Magical Wishes,
