I think you are going to
love becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder! Not only will you have an entire year of admission to some amazing theme parks, Annual Passholders are also eligible for some great
perks and
discounts.
Not all tickets are eligible to be upgraded in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. If you are not seeing the option to "Change Ticket", you will likely need to
upgrade your ticket in person at a Walt Disney World ticket window,
Guest Relations location, or the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.
Amar, I thought I should clarify that in order to be able to take advantage of the complimentary theme park parking benefit, your Annual Pass must be active. All
Annual Passes need to be activated in person with a photo ID. So even if your ticket can be upgraded to an Annual Pass through the app, you would still need to activate it in person to be eligible for free parking. If you can, I recommend visiting the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs to upgrade and/or activate your ticket prior to the day you plan to visit a theme park. Your Annual Pass will then be valid for one year from the date of activation or the date your 14-Day Ultimate Ticket was first used (not the date of purchase.) If you must upgrade your ticket at the same time you will be visiting a theme park, save your parking receipt and bring it with you to Guest Relations to ask if you can receive a credit for the
parking fee.
