Hei Hei Aida!
Thanks for sailing by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. My six-year-old daughter also loves
Moana and her spirit of adventure. Unfortunately, because she is a
fearless Wayfinder, the seas have called her, and currently, she does not have a permanent greeting place at Walt Disney World. The Disney Parks Blog will be the first place to announce her return, and I am hopeful that the stars will bring her back soon!
While we are waiting for her wayfinding adventures to be over, there are incredible adventures to be had in the spirit of ‘Ohana at the Walt Disney World Resort. One of my favorite places to bask in the spirit of Aloha is at
Moana Mercantile in
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. There you will find trinkets and snacks worthy of
Pua! The Princess of Motunui is known to make an appearance at
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (which is the
merriest of parties, and happening while you are visiting!). But a guaranteed viewing is during Happily Ever After’s Moana sequence. The sea will call you, and you might get a peek of Maui’s hook! And since Moana is a fan of adventure, you might see her in the most epic of shows -
Fantasmic! at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
If your
Warrior Princess would be happy greeting other royal friends, she can find them throughout the Parks. We love greeting
Merida at her Scottish enclave, and
Belle is almost always available for an enchanted tale! The Royal Ladies make an appearance every day during the
Festival of Fantasy Parade, and we love a royal meal at
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall.
Aida, I’ll keep an eye out for the outrigger canoe, you keep an EAR out on
Disney Parks Blog. From your mouth to Te Fiti’s ears, hopefully, the stars will bring her back soon! Feel free to float back by with any more questions.
