Hi there, I am trying to link my comp tickets to my account so that I can make a park pass reservation. When I scan it, it says “we are having trouble getting ticket and pass information. Please try again.” What should I do?

Hello, Tammy. I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion. I mean - I am Michelle, your personal planDisney panelist. Thank you for bringing your question to us today. I'm here to help!

I'm so excited to hear that you're headed to The Most Magical Place on Earth! But before we can get you standing in front of Cinderella Castle, we have to make sure you can make your Theme Park Reservations.

First, log into your My Disney Experience account online. Head to the Link Reservations and Purchases page and Select Tickets. Take a look at the example tickets on the right-hand side to help locate your ID Number. Once you find that number, you can enter it in the text box and assign it to a Guest!

If you're still having a problem linking your ticket, you may want to use one of Walt Disney World Resort's recommended browsers. Personally, I have the best luck when using Google Chrome.

You can also try to link your tickets using the My Disney Experience app! Log into the app and tap the icon that looks like three stacked lines in the bottom right corner. Tap "Tickets and Passes" and then tap the plus sign in the top right corner. Tap "Link Tickets & Passes" and either enter the ID Code or try the Scan Code option!

Once you've successfully linked your tickets, go ahead and make your Theme Park Reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. This is the best way to reserve the parks you wish to visit on each day of your trip!

Tammy, if you have problems with any of the above steps, you may want to reach out to a Cast Member. A little like real-life fairy godparents, they'll be more than happy to stretch their magic wands as far as they can reach to help you link your tickets! If you decide to call a Cast Member, I have two suggestions for you. First, try calling right when phone lines open at 7:00 AM EST to have the shortest wait times on the phone. Second, have a little extra patience! Cast Members work hard to make every day the BEST. DAY. EVER. for their Guests. Since their magic can be in high demand, a little extra kindness can go a long way!

Before you leave for your trip, you may also want to explore everything that the My Disney Experience app has to offer! You'll be able to check wait times for rides, view park maps, and even mobile order food. I love knowing that my meals and snacks will be ready before I ever feel a rumbly in my tumbly.

If you have any other questions, please visit us again. After all, you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
