Hi There! I am interested in purchasing a magic band. I am not a passholder and we are not staying at a disney resort. I believe that I might have the option to purchase at magic kingdom. Is this true, how much and can i get one for each family member?

    Hello Nancy,

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I'm sure you're having a great time planning your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation!

I'm a big fan of MagicBands - they're such a great way to add some extra fun and convenience to your trip, whether you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel or off-site.  I know my kids loved picking out their favorite color and accessories on our last visit.

The timing of your question is practically perfect, because it was just recently announced on the Disney Parks Blog that MagicBands can now be purchased from the Disney Parks online store, meaning you could get those and link your tickets before you even arrive.  You can read all about that here.  If you'd rather wait until you're at Walt Disney World, that's also an option.  Here's the most recent list I could find of shops at Magic Kingdom where those are available for purchase.
    • Big Top Souvenirs
    • Box Office Gifts
    • Curtain Call Collectibles
    • Emporium
    • Frontierland Trading Post
    • Mickey's Gift Station
    • Space Mountain Gift Shop
The current price for each MagicBand is $12.95 plus tax.

I  hope that helps with your planning, Nancy!  Please write back if we can help answer any other questions.

    Have a Disney day!
