Hi there, Going to Disney on Sept. 26th with a 4 year old and 16 month old - can I bring my own snacks and drinks into the parks? If so, can I put them in a little cooler that I put under our stroller? Thanks so much!

Yes. I often bring snacks or a beverage into the WDW theme parks with me. Particularly when my children were small and had very particular food idiosyncracies, I always brought their favorite foods with me into the parks, as that was all they would really eat. Many people will bring baby food or a bag lunch with them for reasons ranging from allergies to convenience to budget.

While you are allowed to bring food and drinks into the parks, there are limits as to the container you can bring the food in. Wheeled coolers are not allowed and the lockers at the parks are not particularly large. My rule of thumb is that if one person could comfortably carry the food you're bringing in, then you're probably OK. A small soft-sided insulated bag or cooler is a good choice if you're bringing lunch or cold drinks with you to the park. Keeping this cooler under your stroller is fine.

The only specific food items you cannot bring into the parks with you are alcoholic beverage and glass containers (other than baby food jars).

Hope that helps as you plan your WDW vacation.
