Hey there, hi there, Yiwen! You're as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your excellent question for us.
You're going to love your stay at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. My two Mouseketeers have enjoyed their stays there since they were babies, and oh, how happy I am to hear you're taking your little one(s) there. From friendly Cast Members, fantastic
dining options, and a convenient location, just a
Disney Monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom Park, you will have an enchanting time!
Yiwen, I completely understand that parents need an evening out to relax and enjoy themselves. Although Walt Disney World Resort does not offer childcare services, I'm happy to share options that you may like to utilize so you can enjoy your evening!
If your Mouseketeer(s) are between the ages of 5 and 12, you may want to take advantage of the
Children's Activity Center - Camp Dolphin. Camp Dolphin is operated by Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and advance reservations are required for the evening program. It provides supervised activities such as video games, crafts, movies, snacks, and more from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.!
Another great option is Kid's Nite Out, especially if your little one is at least six months to 18 years old. This service offers in-room childcare options, so you're not worried about drop-off and pick-up locations. A sitter will come to your door and bring age-appropriate toys, books, and games. Advance reservations are also recommended if you're interested.
During our stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, we love relaxing and enjoying a resort day between our park visits. You'll be happy to know that each Disney Resort hotel, including Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, offers a Resort scavenger hunt! It's a fun activity for little ones to do with you, so be sure to stop by the front desk and ask for one during your stay.
Wishing you an enchanting visit, Yiwen!
