What are the Themed kid rooms at WDW resort hotels

    Hi Bonny,

The beauty of staying in a Disney Resort hotel is that the theming at each hotel rivals the theme parks in every way. There are no rooms that are designated as themed kid rooms at Disney World but there are plenty of themed and beautifully appointed rooms that both kids and adults will love.

Disney's Contemporary Resort is inspired by The Incredibles. The rooms come equipped with fun curtains, pillows, and mid-century modern furniture that makes you feel like you are part of the movie. You can even hop on the monorail and zip over to the Magic Kingdom just like Dash! This resort is super convenient and iconic because it is the only resort where the monorail drives through the hotel.

The Port Orleans Riverside Resort features Royal Guest Rooms that are Disney princess-themed. These rooms are delightfully themed with touches sure to please the pickiest of princesses in your travel party. They even have headboards that light up with fireworks at the push of a button. You can also get your hands on some delicious Mickey-shaped Beignets at Scat Cat's Club!

Disney's Art of Animation Resort has Cars, The Lion King, and Finding Nemo-themed family suites that offer extra room and extra immersion into the world of Disney. They also have a Little Mermaid-themed standard room that is a fun way to go under the sea on your next vacation. This resort also boasts access to the Disney Skyliner that takes you straight to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. It is a fun ride and has a fabulous view of Disney World.

    Happy Planning,
    Jenna
