Viviana,
Thanks for your question!
Theme park tickets and water park tickets are separate types of tickets. You cannot use them interchangeably. But here is an idea that can save you some money.
If you already have
Park Hopper tickets, you could upgrade them to
Park Hopper Plus Option tickets. What does that do for you? With this ticket you get a certain number of added experiences beyond the theme parks as part of your ticket package. For example, with a 4-day Park Hopper Plus Option ticket you would get the four theme park days, but also up to 4 water park visits. Those would work at either
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park.
What does this mean, cost wise? Well, if you currently have the standard Park Hopper ticket and buy a 1-day Typhoon Lagoon Water Park ticket, you are paying an added $60+ per person for that one day at the water park. But in my 4-day Park Hopper Plus Option ticket example you would only be adding around $20-25 per person to your ticket cost. So four added water park visits for a sum total of $25 versus one visit for over $60, a great savings!
By the way, the Park Hopper Plus Option ticket does not just get you access to the water parks. You can also use those added experiences at select golf courses, the
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or
Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf courses, and the
ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. I love going to a combination of Blizzard Beach, followed by a round at the Winter Summerland Miniature Golf course, as they are located next to each other for a great summer double feature!
Have a Magical Vacation!
