Hey Howdy Hey DiAnne and welcome to planDisney!
There has been so much that has changed this year with the Guest's Theme Park Experience that sometimes it can be hard to keep up with.
Theme Park Reservations is one of the big ones! Not to worry DiAnne, you've got a friend in me to get you the details about reservations.
Earlier this year, Disney changed the rule that Guests with
date-based tickets no longer need reservations to get into the parks. Date-based tickets are the ones that are most common and available with vacation packages through the Walt Disney World website. If you purchased your tickets there, you most likely will not need reservations. Special Event tickets say that are available for a work conference, or Annual Passholders still need reservations to get into the parks at this time.
With your vacation later this month, there is so much excitement going on at the Walt Disney World Resort right now, that you picked a great time to visit. We currently are expecting the newly rethemed attraction,
Tiana's Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom, to officially open on June 28th. We have also seen most of the construction throughout EPCOT being finished this summer and a new attraction as well with
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. Make sure to get your list of "Must Do" attractions in each park and dig a little deeper into how to experience them!
I hope you have a Magical time on your vacation later this month. If you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know, we are always happy to help!
To Infinity and Beyond,
Nick
