I’m seeing a lot of conflicting information. Can an adult wear a Jedi costume at Disney Hollywood Studios for galaxy’s edge? Or is it considered a costume in which case it’s not allowed? I’ve seen a few different answers, I need clarification.

Bright suns, Amber! I am so excited your travels across the Galaxy include a stop at Batuu.

I am also glad I was able to receive your transmission without interference from the First Order. Their technology is powerful, but rebellions are built on hope. We are good at finding cracks in their systems and hope they are not just a trap!

Walt Disney World has established clothing protocols for visitors to this side of the Galaxy. Anyone 14 or older cannot wear costumes, but you can wear outfits inspired by Star Wars. If you would like some guidance, this article on "Bounding" may be the information you are looking for.

There are a few things to keep in mind as you plan to experience the Force. Your outfit should not touch the ground. We certainly do not want to entangle any droids or trip any Padawans. Like droids in Mos Eisley Cantina, weapons of any kind are not welcome here, including toys that could be mistaken for weapons. And if you follow the path of Mandalore, I am sorry, but you will have to leave your mask at home. Here, this is the way.

Within the protocols that ensure everyone's safety and enjoyment, there is a lot of freedom to show your journey into the path of the Jedi at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Seeing all the tributes to the stories, characters and destinations - shared by travelers of all ages - makes Galaxy's Edge a truly special place.

While you are visiting the Outer Rim, it's only a short leap over to meet Chewbacca at Launch Bay. You hardly even need to jump to Lightspeed to get there in 12 parsecs. Here, you can laugh it up with our favorite fuzzball. (Just don't tell him I called him that, except maybe the "favorite" part.)

And although the green and blue milk varieties are as famous as the two suns over Tatooine, I am a fan of the Cold Brew Black Caf at Kat Saka's Kettle. It helps bring me into being one with the Force.

If you have any other questions, I hope you fly your X-wing back by planDisney. We can call upon the Sacred Texts to help find the answers you seek.

May the Force be With You!
