Hi there, Channing! Thanks for sending in your question to planDisney! We appreciate your patience, and I apologize for not being able to help you sooner. However, I'm excited to hear that you're planning a trip to Disneyland Resort soon!
So, it sounds like you have a 1-day ticket and would like to add another ticket for a second guest. If that's the case, you would cancel your current reservation and
make a NEW reservation for the same ticket. Then you can
buy your second 1-day ticket through the Disneyland website, which will make the park reservation for you. One thing to remember is that
single-day ticket prices are "tiered" and vary in cost depending on the day you visit. Since January 10 is most likely in a lower tier than your current ticket, you should be able to make new reservations with the ticket you currently have. If you need assistance, call the
Guest Information & Ticket Sales team at (714) 781-4636.
I'm also wondering if you might have a 1-day ticket and want to add on a second day. In that instance, consider upgrading to a 2-day multi-day ticket. These tickets do not have tiered pricing, but you must complete your visits within 13 days of first use. Ticket upgrades are available as long as the ticket is wholly unused and the upgrade is to another ticket of equal or greater value, which yours would be. Again, your best bet is to call (714) 781-4636 and discuss your options with a Cast Member. They can help you make your new park reservations, as well.
I hope this answers your questions, Channing! Feel free to send me a follow-up question if you need any clarification. I'm sending some pixie dust out to the Beehive State to help you get your tickets all worked out! See ya real soon!
