thanl you for all your answers! we are 3 adults coming in may have DDP - my sister and i are not big eaters 9my hubby is), if we eat at a TS restaurant can we just use one meal credit and share a meal?

Hi Dawn! Portion sizes can be generous at many Disney restaurants, but the food is so tasty, I'm generally too selfish to share my meal with anyone! Plus, I figure I'm burning lots of calories with all the walking in the parks so I can afford to eat my whole meal all by myself!

At buffets, fixed-price, or all-you-can-eat meals, sharing of meals is not permitted, whether you are on the Dining Plan or paying out-of-pocket.  At table-service restaurants, the official Disney policy prohibits sharing meals on the Dining Plan. Most table-service restaurants offer options that are light and not overly-filling so you'll  likely find a meal to match your appetite. If you do order a meal and can't finish it, ask your server to box it up so you can enjoy it later. Even though sharing on the Dining Plan is not allowed, guests sometimes report that they have been allowed to share a meal and pay with only one table-service credit.  If you and your sister don't feel hungry enough to order two meals, ask your sever if you could share one meal instead. Disney wants its guests to be happy, and the cast members try very hard to be accommodating.

I hope your vacation is magical! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We're happy to help!
