I want to do a Thanksgiving trip to Disney with my kiddos. Where should I stay and what should I plan for for a good holiday experience from the 27th to the 30th?

    Hi Raquel!

Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your question! Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World Resort sounds like the most magical way to celebrate this holiday and ring in the beginning of the holiday season! I hope you enjoy the beautiful holiday decor and check out the Gingerbread Displays at select Disney Resort hotels. This is one of my favorite activities to do with my family, and it's free! Visit select Disney Resort hotels that have them, and you can even purchase sweet treats to enjoy during your stay. The Gingerbread House at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and the Holiday Carousel at Disney's Beach Club Resort are my favorites! I also recommend the Christmas Tree Stroll in Disney Springs. There are twelve trees throughout the complex, and it's always fun seeing which Disney film is depicted in ornaments. Stop by and say hello to Santa Claus, who will be near Disney's Pin Traders, before grabbing sweet treats at The Ganachery (the Olaf Hot Cocoa Surprise is my favorite!).

Speaking of Disney Resort hotels, I recommend looking into a Family Suite at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. This is the perfect resort for families with kiddos who love iconic Disney and Pixar films. There are character statues throughout the resort, and the lobby is adorned with magical animation images from select films. The Family Suites are spacious, comfortable, and full of character! I also love that they have two bathrooms (including one with a bathtub) and a small kitchenette. Make your reservations as soon as possible by calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line!

Raquel, I hope all of this information was helpful! Thank you again for visiting planDisney, and I hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday!

    'Tis the Season!
