Thanks for the suggestions - we got a premium rm at the Grand and booked the Fairytale suite for our last day. Are there any backstage tours or other special experiences we should seek out?

    Hi Tammy,

I was wondering what magic you would book - I beyond thrilled for you two. Thank you for writing me back, I love hearing from Guests.

Being that you two are visiting Walt's original theme park with all the history and magic, in and of itself, it is something to take in. I recommend stopping by City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. to ask about the "Walk in Walt's Disneyland Footsteps" Guided Tour. You will learn about Disney's history, tales, and challenges of when Walt built the Disneyland Resort from the ground up. You also get a tour of Walt's apartment and then end with a lunch.

One hidden gem unique to the Disneyland Park that some Guests may overlook, is the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough. As you walk through the castle, you will read from an enlarged story book of Sleep Beauty and see some scenes from the movie. Go check out Great Moments with Mr.Lincoln. This was one of Walt's original attractions and can only be found at Disneyland. For a practically perfect time aboard the King Arthur Carrousel, ask the Cast Member if you can ride on Mrs. Jingles dedicated to Julie Andrews from the movie, Mary Poppins.

I recommend the World of Color Dining Package over at Disney California Adventure Park. I have loved my meals at Wine Country Trattoria, however at Ariel’s Grotto, the dessert plate for the table has so many delicious treats to try on the platter. World of Color is a must-see, and if you book the World of Color Dining Package, then you have Preferred Viewing for the show.

Over on Main Street, U.S.A. is the Silhouette Studio, a skilled artist hand-cuts your silhouette on the spot and you receive an extra copy of it with your purchase. The artists can put multiple Guests in one portrait. It only takes about 5 minutes but is a timeless souvenir.

Tammy, I'm limited on space. Please write me back if you have any more questions, I'd love to help.
