Thanks for your respone Jodie! I have been researching reviews on allears.net and some reviews are poor due to long distance from the Mermaid Rooms to the dining and buses. would you mind personally reviewing & replying after your stay in a few weeks?

It's great to hEAR back from you, Jamie!  I can completely understand your concern in making sure your room location is not too far from the bus stop and Landscape of Flavors, the quick-service dining location at DIsney's Art of Animation Resort. I have firsthand experience staying at a few Disney Deluxe Resorts where I had a lengthy walk to the main areas of the resort because my room location was at the very end of a long hallway. I wanted to let you know that questions sent in to the Moms Panel are time sensitive so I needed to reply to your question prior to my arrival at Disney's Art of Animation Resort. My trip is a little less than two weeks away, if you would like to write me back then. I will be glad to give you my honest opinion of the room location based on my own personal experience staying in The Little Mermaid Standard Rooms. Should you have any other questions regarding Disney's Art of Animation Resort or your Walt Disney World vacation, please ask away. I hope you have a Magical day, Jamie!
    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
