Thanks for being so informative it really helps us plan! Would you recommend the park hopper pass or just plan one day per park? We have not experienced any dining at Disney so what do you recommend will have our 6 year old grandson with us.

It's great to hEAR from you again, Paulette! It is truly a pleasure to assist you with all of your Walt Disney World vacation planning questions! To be perfectly honest, my family does not always "park hop" even though we usually add the Park Hopper Option to our Magic Your Way Tickets. If you will have ample time on your vacation to experience each park that you would like to visit, then I don't feel it would be necessary to purchase the Park Hopper Option. If you are planning a short trip to Walt Disney World and hope to visit two parks in the same day to maximize your time, then I would recommend purchasing the Park Hopper Option.I definitely feel you will want a full day at both Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios with your grandson. Since Disney's Animal Kingdom Park generally closes earlier than the other theme parks, we do often "park hop" to a second park on those particular evenings. However, you could also plan to visit Downtown Disney for dinner that evening instead. As a mom of seven-year-old twin boys, I can honestly say that T-REX, A Prehistoric Adventure located in Downtown Disney is a fun dining location with a themed setting and life-size animatronic animals. My favorite Character Dining Experiences for young boys include Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort featuring the "Fab 5" and 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast located in Disney's Polynesian Resort which features Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto. Whispering Canyon Café located in Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a rowdy, Western-themed dining location where we have enjoyed delicious dishes and fun antics by the cast members. I would highly recommend booking Advanced Dining Reservations for your table-service restaurants by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by going online here.Guests may begin booking Advanced Dining Reservations 180 days in advance. Best wishes for a magical trip, Paulette!
    Happy Planning,
