    Thanks for your help wih an itinerary idea. With 3 boys, 5,7,14. I booked ADR's @HV, Tusker House, Chef Mickey, Ohana, Garden Grill, and Crystal Palace character meals. We also have sci-fi and kona cafe TS meals planned. Am I over doing character meals?

    Amber,

    Boy, that is a tough call. Only you know your boys well enough to judge.

    But you asked, and so I will give my opinion. Because you have a 14 year old, and you are seeing so many characters so many times, I would say that you probably could consider switching a few of these to meals that might be a bit more up his alley. This might also help you minimize character overload.

    What would I do?

    Well I would definitely keep Tusker House, Chef Mickey's, and maybe Crystal Palace. With the others, I would keep them unless I could replace them with the following;

    Hollywood & Vine: Keep, unless you can, swap to 50s Prime Time Cafe
    'Ohana: Switch to dinner there, or to dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe
    Garden Grill: Switch to one of the World Showcase restaurants. Via Napoli if they are finicky eaters, Biergarten if they can be a bit adventurous.

    BOTTOM LINE: Swapping may not be that easy, as I don't know what meals you are having at each. But as a rule, I think you might get a bit of character overload, so yes, I would replace a few with other meals that are still fun, but maybe more teen-friendly.

    But even if you don't change a thing, I think you will have a great time!

    Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
