Hi, Thanks for all the help thus far. What is the fastest way to get from MK to AK? Monorail to TTC to AK bus or bus to resort to AK bus? If 2nd option which resort? Is walking, boat or bus fastest for HS to Epcot? All have great advice. Love panel!

    Hi Sirenya,

Moving from one park or resort to another is always a challenge. You want to find the quickest route to maximize park play time as much as possible. Depending on how fast you walk, the quickest option from Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom would most likely be to walk to the Contemporary Resort and take a bus to ANimal Kingdom from there. Now of course, if you walk slower, or time the Disney ferry or monorails just right, the better choice would be to jump on the ferry or monorail to the Transportation Center and transfer to an Animal Kingdom bus. Typically the walk to Contemporary is quicker since you are only waiting on one form of Disney transportation instead of two like the other options.

We love staying back in the Epcot resort area and the ease of walking from Epcot to Hollywood Studios. If a boat is just arriving, it will be much easier to take the boat from one park to the other. The boat does stop at three resort docks however, Dolphin/Sawn, Yacht/Beach and Boardwalk and can be a slow  but relaxing process. The walk from one park to the other, at a fairly moderate pace, is much faster than the boat and can be walked in approximately twenty minutes. Another option would be to take the boat from Hollywood Studios to one of the resort stops, get off and walk the other half of thew way to Epcot. This will save slightly on your exhaustion level, but still get you to Epcot slightly faster than the boat.

    Happy travels!
