Thanks for all your help, Moms! Can u please tell me how long to allow for dinner at Victoria & Alberts? Is there still a photographer that will take your picture there? We will b dining in the Queen Victoria room for our anniversary!

    Hi Pam -

    Happy anniversary!

I've dined at Victoria & Albert's 9 times now and I can't wait for number 10. It is an absolutely incredible experience with a beautiful atmosphere, impeccable service and truly outstanding food and wine. My husband has eaten at most of the highest rated restaurants in New York City, and he still says that V&A's is his favorite place to dine in the world.

Dinner in the main dining room will take approximately three hours. If you're eating at the Chef's Table or in the Queen Victoria room, plan for more like three and a half or four hours. This is due to the greater number of courses and the more elaborate service. While this seems like a long meal, there's so much to see that it really flies by - and you'll actually be grateful for the time to digest.

There is no photographer at Victoria & Albert's, but if you bring your camera, the staff at the restaurant will be happy to take as many shots as you want. I also end up taking many photos of my food - because I don't want to forget a single incredible bite - but I make sure to use the "no flash" setting because flashes would really disrupt the refined mood.

    Have a wonderful meal!
