    Thanks for all your help, the panel is awesome! I have another question. What is within walking distance from the ship at Nassau?

    Thanks for writing back!  When you disembark the ship in Nassau, you will be located in Prince George Wharf.  A short walk down the pier will put you in the heart of the action after passing through a Welcome Center.  There are a few shops located in that building, and you might want to grab a map when you go through.  Bay Street is the main shopping area where you will find the Straw Market as well as some nicer shops and souvenir stores.  I also remember seeing a few restaurants such as Senor Frogs.  There are several government buildings and Christ Church in walking distance.  There is not a public beach close by the wharf so you will need a cab service if you are interested in a beach day. 

    I hope this gives you a good idea of what to expect if you decide to venture ashore in the Bahamas.  It was great to hear from you again, and I hope you will let me know if you think of anything else!
