Hi Jennifer! My best Disney memories as a child are of
camping at Fort Wilderness. There is so much to see and do, and you're a boat ride away from the Magic Kingdom! Average March temperatures vary between 55 and 78 degrees. Mornings and evenings are definitely cool, so warm sleeping bags and clothes are a must! You'll need to be sure to bring all your toileteries with you as well, including shampoo and soap. There are plenty of comfort stations complete with clean showers nearby.
Each campsite comes complete with your own picnic table and charcoal grill, so bring your supplies and utensils if you plan to barbecue. Another great thing about Fort Wilderness camping is you enjoy all the dining Disney has to offer. You have several options at the campground itself, and countless others throughout Disney property.
There is
so much for your family to do at Fort Wilderness as well, from renting bikes and boats to dinner shows and Chip 'n Dale's Campfire Singalong and nightly movies under the starts.
Hope this helps with your planning Jennifer!
