Hey there, Mary Sandra!
I’m so thrilled to welcome you back to planDisney and really appreciate you bringing your question to us. How amazing that you’re planning a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most MERRIEST time of the year…the
holiday season! And to make it even more special, you’ll be celebrating a very important birthday while you’re there. HOT DOG! That’s definitely a reason to celebrate in true Disney style. WOOHOO! I can only imagine how exciting it will be to enjoy all the holiday magic, while marking such a special milestone. It’s truly going to be a trip full of memories you’ll cherish forever!
First off, you made such a great choice picking
Disney’s Riviera Resort as your home for your vacation. It’s honestly my favorite of all the Disney Resorts. I love the charming European-inspired design, the quiet, relaxed atmosphere, and having easy access to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios by using the Disney Skyliner.
If you love coffee, you’ll definitely want to stop by
Le Petit Café, maybe even a few times. Their specialty drinks are amazing, and they have the perfect sweet treats to enjoy alongside your coffee while soaking in the cozy, elegant vibe of the resort. It’s such a nice way to start your day or take a little break from all the park excitement.
I love that you’re already thinking ahead to all the festive fun waiting for you! While Disney hasn’t announced when tickets for
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will go on sale this year,
last year they became available for Guests at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels on July 16th, and for all other Guests on July 22nd. I’d expect a similar timeline this year, so keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog is your best bet since that’s usually where updates are posted first. As for the Candlelight Processional Dining Package, those tickets typically go on sale a bit later. Last year they were available starting October 14th.
The
Seats and Suites Fireworks Dessert Party is part of the
Enchanting Extras Collection, which means you can reserve it 60 days before your check-in date. I love that you’re planning to do this…it’s definitely on my must-do list for one of our next visits!
Since you’ll be celebrating your birthday, be sure to stop by the front desk of your Disney Resort or any Guest Relations location in the theme parks to pick up your complimentary Celebration Button! Wearing this button is a fun way to let Cast Members and other Guests know it’s your special day. You might even get a few extra smiles, waves, or special surprises along the way. It's such a simple but magical touch that makes celebrating at Disney even more memorable!
Mary Sandra, I hope this is helpful as you continue planning your very special trip! Wishing you an absolutely wonderful time celebrating, and thank you so much for stopping by planDisney!
Magic Awaits,
Kami
