Thanks for all your help so far Erin! I really appreciate everyones on the moms panel advice so can you please answer this Quick question for me.....which hotel would you prefer the POR or CBR and which hotel do you think is better for two little girls??

Thank you so much for the kind words :-)

Both Port Orleans Riverside and the Caribbean Beach Resort are lovely moderate resorts. Since you're asking me specifically, I'd have to say that I personally prefer Port Orleans. The two main reasons I'm saying this are size and themeing. I prefer a smaller-feeling resort and CBR seems too sprawling to me. I also happen to not be a big fan of the Beach themeing at CBR. I am not a beach girl (thus part of the reason why we initially ended up going to WDW so often) and the beach feel of the CBR is not my cup of tea. I find the grand South of Port Orleans to be much more relaxing. That being said, I have to say that I am definitely in the minority in disliking the beach theme. Nearly everyone I've spoken to adores it.

Both these hotels have great amenities for children. The CBR has the beach areas for castle building. PO has fishing and bike and boat rentals. Both have fabulous pools. You really can't go wrong with either one. I would simply choose based on whichever themeing appeals most to you.
