1st, thanks for the great job you guys do!!!!! My mother & I will be bringing my daughter (7) & niece (10) in June to celebrate their birthdays. I have purchased the Deluxe DP, but I am hearing good & bad about the changes. Should I change?

    Denise,

Thank you for the compliment!  It's really rewarding for us to do what we do because we are all so passionate about Disney.  I'm glad we can help you!

Opinions on the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) vary widely so you will find a lot of both good and bad reviews.  It's hard to say what is right for your family. I however love the plan, even with the new changes, and we still use it.

The biggest decision you have to make is how much your family likes to eat.  The deluxe plan can be an amazing value, but you have to plan ahead to get that value.  You will need to eat all (or almost all) table service meals to get your money's worth out of it, so that involves a lot of planning and a lot of eating.  What is your touring style?  Will you be happy to have three sit-down meals a day?  If you'd rather grab a quick-service meal then you probably will not fully realize the plan's value.  If you would enjoy having three pre-planned, relaxing meals per day then you will adore the deluxe plan.  I do!
