Thanks for all of the great information on the Panel. We are staying at WL 9/19-9/26. Are fireworks visible from the beach?

    Hi Mary,

You are very welcome, and thank you for the encouraging words. Wilderness Lodge is a great resort choice, of course we are a little biased as it is our Disney Vacation Club property. I am sure you will love the peacefulness of the resort. From the minute you step into the towering lobby, it is quite breath-taking and has the feel of a Northern Woods Lodge.

Unfortunately one of the amazing qualities of the resort, is the same quality that makes it difficult to enjoy Wishes from the resort itself. There are trees, pines, bushes and landscaping surrounding the resort. Most of the landscaping is quite dense and tall and provides the Lodge with a very secluded and remote feel. It also blocks a large majority of the fireworks show. While we have been able to catch glimpses of the show, depending on the thickness of the trees and exactly where the firework is exploding, the majority of the show will not be visible.

The best views of the show, outside Magic Kingdom, can be enjoyed from the monorail resorts, The Contemporary, The Polynesian, and Grand Floridian. Consider making dining reservations at California Grill or Narcoossee's. Both are delicious restaurants that provide a stunning view of the fireworks show. Hope you have an a magical trip!
