    Hi moms! Thanks for all the great advice! Planning an anniversary trip for April, 2012 (w/6yo DD) @ POFQ. I have read they have horse & buggy rides. Do you know how late they run & the cost? Should I make advance reservations? Thanks again!

    Hi, Maria! These horse-drawn carriage rides provide an intimate 30-minute trip up and down the scenic Sassagoula River. Carriages depart near Boatwright's Dining Hall in the nearby Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside. The trip costs $45 per carriage.  Reservations are available nightly (weather permitting).  The last time I did this, the first ride was at 6:00 P.M., and the last ride departed 9:30 P.M.  Of course, this is subject to change, but you can confirm the times when you call and make a reservation. I always suggest making a reservation when possible.  Please note that there was a no-show penalty the last time I did this.  If you aren't going to be able to make your reservation be sure to call and cancel within the given time frame.
