Thanks for all your detailed advice. I will be at WDW Oct 30 - Nov 4. Will there be any place decorated for Christmas? I would love to get a Christmas card picture while at WDW.

    Hi Summers,

Since you'll be at WDW over the Halloween holiday, you will experience lots of orange and black decorations, but I think you're just a few days too early for Christmas.

The Halloween parties end on November 1 and the Christmas parties begin on November 10. During that intervening week, the parks will change over from the fall decor to the winter decor. You might find a small area or two that is completed by the 4th, but it is unlikely that anything significant will be done by then.

The one area at WDW that is always ready for Christmas is Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in the Liberty Square area at the Magic Kingdom. Perhaps you could go there and buy some Mickey Santa hats and stage a shot against a neutral background that would work as a Christmas photo.

Good luck and have a wonderful trip to WDW!
