    Thanks for the awesome advice. We are planning on attending MVMCP on Dec 14th (Tues). Would be wise to buy our tickets so far in advance or should we be OK until shortly before our trip? Concerned that the weather may not cooperate. Thanks!

    You are very welcome! We love being able to help other guests plan their Disney World vacations, it helps with our vacation withdrawals.

    I am so excited to hear that you are planning to attend Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party during your Disney vacation. Our family loves this special ticket event, especially the great parade and fireworks presented only on party nights.

    This is such a tough question to answer, as there is just no way of knowing exactly how crowded each party night will be. There is a limited number of tickets for sale per party and many party nights do sell out in advance, especially the close you get to holiday travel times like Thanksgiving and Christmas. I would think that the date you have selected would be available for some time, but personally, if I knew that was the night we had planned to attend, I would purchase my tickets sooner rather than later. The weather is always a gamble but the nice thing is December is typically a pretty dry month in Florida. We have attended numerous Halloween and Christmas parties at Disney World, and I can only recall one time that it rained. Don't forget most attractions and events are inside and can still be enjoyed if a rain shower does pass by. I would hate to see you miss out on the party while waiting for the weatherman.
