Thanks for answering my question about fitting in AK and planning for my 4 and 2 year old. Is it worth it to visit Downtown Disney? If I don't have a reservation is it worth it to try Ohana for dinner?

    Hi Sara,

I am glad that you liked my answer about helping you plan your vacation! I loved being at Disney with my daughters at that age.

As for Downtown Disney, it is a great place to burn some extra energy if you have any during your trip. We like to visit Downtown Disney to go shopping and enjoy some time out of the park. I like to shop some of their uniques stores like The Spice & Tea Exchange for spices and teas, Tren-D for cute accessories and an ornament from Disney's Days of Christmas. Some of our favorite restaurants are here such as Wolfgang Puck's Grand Cafe, Bongos Cuban Cafe and my husband's new favorite, Raglan Road. Again, it is a nice extra if you have time.

As for dinner at 'Ohana, I have only had breakfast here and I have enjoyed this restaurant. Located at the Polynesian, it is again nice to get away from the parks for the day. If you can not grab a table here, the Kona Cafe is at this resort as well. Other options for dining at the resorts around Magic Kingdom, we like the Wave, Whispering Canyon Cafe and 1900 Park Fare if a character meal is something you might enjoy.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
