Hey there, Kim! I’m so happy to welcome you back to planDisney so soon after
our last chat!
I wanted to be sure I was providing you with the most accurate and up-to-date information, so I reached out to a helpful Cast Member for a little extra insight. Lucinda shared that, based on her experience, she has often seen wheelchairs available along the bus loops at both
Magic Kingdom and
Animal Kingdom. These are typically there to assist Guests who may need a little extra help getting from the bus drop-off area to the
wheelchair and ECV rental locations at the front of the parks, which can be a bit of a walk.
That said, availability can vary depending on the time of day and overall demand. If you happen to arrive and don’t see a wheelchair readily available, there will be a Cast Member nearby who can assist you and help make sure you get where you need to go comfortably and safely.
If you’re thinking about purchasing
Lightning Lane passes for your upcoming trip, I wanted to share a helpful reminder about when you can grab them. Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can make their purchases starting 7 days prior to their check-in date at 7:00 AM Eastern Time right in the
My Disney Experience app. If you’ll be staying off property, you can still purchase Lightning Lane passes beginning 3 days before your park visit.
Personally, I love using Lightning Lane passes at Magic Kingdom. With so many attractions packed into one park, it’s such a great way to maximize your time and experience even more magic throughout the day.
Kim, I hope this provides a bit more clarity and peace of mind as you continue planning your visit. And be sure to enjoy an extra DOLE Whip for me while you're there!
Magical Wishes,
Kami
