Thank you for this panel - I love the expert advice! Is there any indication of when the February 2016 Fantasmic show times and dining experience reservations will be released? Also, what are your favorite counter service places in the parks?

    Hi Stacey!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you are finding it helpful for your vacation planning.

I have noticed that Fantasmic! Dining Package booking is currently not opening at the 180 day mark. I answered this question for another Guest back in August, who was wanting to book for January. I can see that the January dates are now open and available, but February is not. I would expect then, based on the timing of my answer to the previous Guest, that we should see those February dates open here within the month. While I cannot guarantee that, I’m hopeful that that will be the case for you. I recommend continuing to check back regularly to see if dates open up. We love the Fantasmic! Dining Package, so I hope you love it too!

Half of the fun of any Walt Disney World Vacation is the food! At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park, get your carnivore on at Flame Tree Barbecue, or enjoy the street-food inspired new Harambe Market. When we visit Epcot, a visit to Sunshine Seasons is a must-do for my family. There is something for everyone and the pastry case is what sweet dreams are made of! Disney’s Hollywood Studios usually finds us with the Fantasmic! Dining Package, but for the occasional quick service, we like the Studio Catering Company with it’s covered seating area. At Magic Kingdom, our family favorite is Columbia Harbor House. My boys love fried shrimp, they offer frozen lemonade to drink, fruit cobbler for dessert, and there is always plenty of seating upstairs. If you see Cast Member Mike from Michigan out front, tell him the Moms Panel says he is a great singer, and see what might happen!

And now, I’m hungry for some Disney food! Happy planning, and let us know if you have any other questions we can help with, Stacey.
