Ahoy Melanie!
You are so welcome! This is another great question, and I completely understand wanting to take advantage of your Florida residency when booking your Disney Cruise. If you have a particular sailing in mind, it is always wise to go ahead and book your cruise for better rates. Disney Cruise Line does offer
deals for Florida residents, but these usually don't come out until 45 to 60 days before the scheduled departure. These deals are great, but you must be willing to go within that window. "Kids Sail Free" is another fabulous promotion available in the past, but unfortunately there is no way to know when Disney will offer it in the future and for which ships and itineraries. I do know that there may be a possibility to still take advantage of the "Kids Sail Free" if you already have a cruise reservation booked by calling and talking with a cruise reservation agent.
With all that being said, if you are leaning toward the Fantasy, I would go ahead and book your cruise because it is still the newest ship so specials may not be offered anytime soon. If you are flexible, then you may want to wait because fall has been a time that Disney offered deals in the past. I would definitely keep an eye on the
Special Offers page as you plan.
I hope this helps, Melanie! As always, please let me know if I can assist you further!
Have a magical day!
Nancy
