Welcome back, Tammy! It's great to hear from you again!
My family and I love
Disney Cruise Line's Very Merrytime Sailings. We really enjoy sailing with Disney anytime of the year, but the Very Merrytime cruises add so much extra magic! The ship will be decked from deck to deck with Christmas decorations, a huge Christmas tree in the atrium (perfect for photos!), and the most amazing life-sized gingerbread house that makes the whole atrium smell heavenly! There will be holiday activities like the first night's Christmas tree lighting ceremony, Santa's arrival, the Deck the Deck Tropical Holiday party and more! My kids wore smiles from ear to ear and giggled constantly as they did the limbo under big candy cane poles with their favorite Disney friends during the deck party last time! Oh, and decorating your own gingerbread house under the guidance of the ship's pastry chef is an absolute must! It's all part of the magic of the season!
You'll still enjoy two cruise casual nights (one of which is Pirate Night), and the one Optional Dress Up night. On that dressier night, many guests will wear their Christmas outfits to get great photos by the tree, on the grand staircase in the atrium, or with one of the other backgrounds, to use for their family's Christmas cards. That's what we've done in the past! Plus, Mickey and his friends will be out with their Christmas attire at some point and that makes for great photos too!
Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App to your mobile devices before you go. Once onboard, you can then access the schedule of events which will include many extra holiday activities that you won't want to miss! Have such fun planning, Tammy, and we'd love to hear from you again as you count down for this magical, merry adventure!
