Thank you for your help!Making our 1st trip to Hilton Head in August. What can you tell us about activities and dining to make our trip go smoothly? Anything we definitely shouldn't miss?

    Welcome Home, Debra!

Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort is a relaxing escape that sprawls over two distinct locations. The Beach House is located, appropriately, on the Beach approximately one mile away from the main resort. You can drive there and use free parking if you have your car, or you can opt to hop on the shuttle that runs approximately every 30-minutes. Showers, a quick service restaurant, games, and a private pool help to make this beach day unlike any you have ever experienced before! What should you not miss here? Two words that are music to the EARs of many Disney Parks fans: Dole Whip.

When you check-in, you will find a listing of great local restaurants, many which give a discount to Guests at Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. This is important because you will not find a table service dining option at the resort itself. There are a few within walking distance, and many just a short drive away.

There is so much to see and do on Hilton Head Island in addition to its 12-miles of pristine beaches. From golfing, to museums, and the Big Dipper Pool to the nightly campfire, you are sure to enjoy your first visit to Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort.

I hope this helps, Debra! Please come back and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions. We are here to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally
