Hello moms. Thank you for your helpful information. Our family will be on the Fantasy in February of 2014. My husband enjoys boats/boating. Are there any tours of the boats given to guests - i.e. engine rooms, etc. Thank you!

    Ahoy Melissa!
Welcome to the Moms Panel and congratulations on your upcoming voyage on the magnificent Disney Fantasy!  Since your husband is intrigued by boating, he will be in awe of the size and classic beauty of this stunning vessel.  Currently, due to safety and security reasons, the engine room and bridge are off limits to cruise Guests.  But, Disney Cruise Line does take you behind the scenes in some videos shot that are shown on the Funnelvision (which is the large screen on the pool deck).  Check your daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator, each day so you will be aware of the showings.  Also, on the first day of your cruise, a walking ship tour is offered in the afternoon.  This isn't a behind the scenes tour, but it is a great way to become familiar with the ship, have your questions answered and learn some interesting DCL facts!  Again, check your cruise newsletter which you will receive in the terminal for times and meeting locations.
Best wishes for an amazing week cruising the Caribbean, Melissa!  If you think of any other questions, please let me know!  I'm always happy to help!
    Have a magical day!
