Hi Garland! You're choosing between two great resorts, so you won't be disappointed whichever you select. There is no doubt there is a price difference between the two resorts, so you'll need to decide if the amenities at the Polynesian are worth the extra cost for you. At the
Polynesian, the location is fantastic. You're a quick monorail ride from both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot - for many, that's worth the cost alone! The resort is absolutely gorgeous. You can sit on the beach and enjoy the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom, there are several great restaurants to choose from including the Spirit of Aloha dinner show, awesome pools and so much more. As a deluxe resort, the rooms are bigger and you'll enjoy two queen sized beds as well as a day bed.
Port Orleans Riverside is a moderate resort with a lovely pool area. As a guest here, you get to enjoy the pools and amenities of the French Quarter as well. My favourite part of Port Orleans, in addition to the amazing setting, is the location - we absolutely love being able to take a relaxing boat ride to Downtown Disney. Being on the river, there are boat rentals, excursions, bike rentals and even horse drawn carriage rides.
Hope this helps in your decision-making Garland!
