Thank you so much for all the help! Here I am again for my dd's b-day! We would like family members to give Disney Dollars or gift cards to bring on our trip. What do you recommend? Also, can we have Mickey ears made and delivered to room for our arrival?

    Hi Shelly,

I love getting Disney Dollars for my girls as gifts when we go down to visit. I personally like the money because my girls can visualize the amount of money they have left to spend. The card is easier to carry but who can resist spending money with Disney characters on it.

Of course you can have mouse ears made for you on your arrival. In general, Disney will not place items in the room on arrival because rooms can change at the last minute. They will hold them at the front desk which is a nice treat to get a gift from the front desk.

I recommend calling the Magic Kingdom and ask for the Chapeau store which is the "head" store for hats and mouse ears. They would be able to assist you in designing ears for your daughter. The number to the Magic Kingdom is 407-824-2222.

You may also want to look at some of the items which have been designed for birthdays.

Have a great time with your daughter!
