Thank you for the help with my ADRs. I have another question. Is a park a day good for a first visit or would you recommend some other plan? So far we planned a day in each park and 2 resort rest days and a departure day with a 7 day park hopper.

    Dana,

Naturally the answer to this question is very reliant on the make-up of your traveling group (age-wise, that is). But as a general rule I tell most friends that for a first trip I would do 2 days at the Magic Kingdom, and one day each at the other three parks.

Actually, since you have a 7-day hopper, you really should get a bit more bang for your buck than just four park days on a 7-day hopper. You are paying for 7 park days, but only using four. That is a lot of wasted money.

Now I like the addition of a rest day to your plan, even if it is at the expense of leaving a park day unused. Too many visitors forget that vacation is about relaxation too. But I would try to use more of your park days that you paid for on that hopper, and try to get at least a second day in at the Magic Kingdom.

I hope that this helps? Feel free to write back and we can discuss more.

    Have a magical vacation!
