Thank you Erin. I esp like the extra advice on which resort you liked best. We will certainly put that as our top choice when doing our exchange. Any advice on best time of year? We were thinking Oct, Feb or Mar. Want to use pool but avoid HOT.

The end of October and the beginning of March are both great times to visit Walt Disney World from a weather standpoint. They are both typically warm (highs in the low 80s), but do not usually have the oppressive heat you might find in the summer months. I have been to WDW myself several times in February. My family often finds a few good swim days then, but it can be inconsistent.

You'll also want to factor crowd size into your decision. This can make a HUGE difference in your enjoyment of the entire WDW experience. Considering this, October is most definitely the time to go. Both February and March will see large crowd influxes due to winter break times in large East Coast school districts. Relatively speaking, October is blissfully peaceful. If I were doing the choosing, that's definitely the way I would go.
