    Thank you Doug for your help on my last question.I am shipping food down to our resort POFQ. comming from Tx. on 06-06-09. How long in advance should I mail the package?

    Your shipper (Post Office, UPS, FedEx, whomever) can tell you how long it will take a ground shipment to get there. But I would not want my package getting there more than 3 days before I arrive. This is a rough estimate, so don't sweat it if it might get there 4 days before, or 2. So with ground from Texas, I am guessing that popping in the mail a good 7 or 8 days ahead of time should do the trick.

    Please ask your shipping service though. I would hate for you to go without snacks for a few days!

    I have found baggage services in the resorts to be very professional, courteous, and helpful, so no worries from that end. I just don't want my package there too early, getting in their way. It gives more time for a mishap, misplacement, or something unexpected.
