Hello! Thank you for the awesome job you do! First trip to WDW in late May party of 4 adults and 2 kids. I am a MAJOR planner so I have already booked ALL but 2 of our lunch meals for 9 days, will I regret this? Should I cancel & be more laid back?

Here at the Moms Panel, you are in the land of the super-planners. We are all hyper-vigilant about charting our days and making our dining reservations. I have often encountered people who said they didn't plan their Disney vacations enough and have never once heard someone say that they over-planned their trip. So, you won't get any arguments here about all the great work YOU are doing for your family.

That being said, you should be aware that you may have to change your plans a bit during your actual trip. I ALWAYS have reservations for two (and often three) meals a day at WDW. But I often make changes to these plans while we are at WDW. Even while at WDW, you can call Disney Dining (407-WDW-DINE or the preprogrammed button on your hotel phone) and ask to change, move, or cancel a reservation. This happens to us on every trip. Even the super planners have bugs thrown in the system by sick kids, bad weather, or other issues. On one trip we tried a new restaurant that the kids loved so much that they demanded to eat there again.

So, I applaud your planning and reservations. I wouldn't change a thing now. Just try not to get thrown if you need to make slight alterations to your great plans during your visit to WDW.
